Students of Rayat Institute of Pharmacy, Railmajra organized "Pharma Rhythm 2017" to bid farewell to the outgoing batches of diploma, degree and master courses and celebrate the Annual Function.
The function commenced with welcome of the guests, ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Guest of honor, Dr. Suresh Seth, Campus Director, Rayat Bahra Ropar Campus, and bouquet presentation. The beginning of the cultural events was marked by Shabad Kirtan as a remembrance to the almighty. Students presented remarkable spell bound performances like dances, skits, singing and comical programme which tickled and entertained the audience. Prize distribution event was also organized to award the students for academic achievements.
Students of outgoing batches walked ramp in their dazzling costumes. Among B. Pharmacy final year students, Bakshinder, Manisha bagged the titles of Mr. & Ms. Farewell while Parminder and Twinkle, were crowned as Mr. & Ms. Talented respectively. Vivek and Kulvir Kaur were presented the title of Mr. & Ms. Farewell while Mukesh and Amna bagged Mr. & Ms. Talented among diploma students. Manpreet Singh and Abhishek Kaura of degree and diploma course respectively were honored with the award of "Best Outgoing Student".
Honorable Campus Director congratulated the winners and wished the students luck for their future endeavors. While addressing the students Dr. Suresh Seth said that may your journey ahead be that of valor as the attitude with which you leave will be the cornerstone of what you become tomorrow.
Dr. Naresh Gill, Director, Rayat Institute of Pharmacy, while motivating students in this emotionally surcharged environment said that although disliked but endings are inevitable. As you leave this college, expect that some challenges await you, which of course, I strongly believe going by your antecedents and the manner you have conducted yourselves over the years and the skills and knowledge we have imparted in you, you will surely overcome them.
Outgoing students conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the Director, Faculty and students for organizing the event. They further added that though our hearts are heavy while departing, yet we take cherished countless memories with us which will be treasured deep in our hearts.
